What is Theos?
This site features television and media programming from many faiths as well as lively debates and forums on the subject of religion and our place as human beings in the universe. Theos IS NOT a channel for hatred or condemnation of religion or faith. The purpose of the site is to promote spiritual awareness. Search for your spiritual connection to the left of this page for more information about the various walks of faith. In addition, preview our program offerings of sites that have connected to our spiritual channel to share their faith and testimony.
NEW TO THEOS!
The current Hijri date can be seen on our Islam page in Theos. The Hijri Date is a displays both Hijri (Islamic Date) and Gregorian dates. To Muslims, the Hijri calendar is not just a sentimental system of time reckoning and dating important religious events, e.g., Siyaam (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah). It has a much deeper religious and historical significance. Listen to the Qur'an and search by verse on the Islam page of Theos. Also presented is a verse by day for users of the site. Click the speaker icon next to the verse to listen in Arabic. A Bible Search in 22 different versions has been included on our Christianity page as well as Woman2Woman.
